Orientation & Enlightening Event about the project and the concept of the REDD+

SAWA Sudan organization was conducted (Orientation and enlightening event about the project and the concept of the REDD+ (launch event) on 15 March 2018.

The invitation covered all targeted stakeholders at national level (Governmental institutions, INGOs, NGOs, Private sectors, Media, Figures Students)

Numbers of participant

83 participants (100 invitation distributed)

The key topics were focused on

1. Status of the forest in Sudan and the economic and social values presented by Dr. Sayeda Mohamed Al hassan – FNC.
2. Overview about the concept of the REDD+ and why REDD= is important to be adopted presented by the Sayeda Ali Khalil national coordinator of the REDD+ in FNC Sudan.
3. Overview about the project of the Sudan Round Trees Network for Low Carbon Emissions presented by Khalda Abuzaid , project manager SAWA Sudan.

This event covered by different type of media all the documentation will be submit Radio, Newspaper, Sudania 24 TV and A Shrooqe TV
