WFP High-Level Delegation Reviews Sawa Sudan’s Food Assistance Projects in Dar Al-Salam – Ombada (August 2025)

As part of its ongoing partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), Sawa Sudan welcomed a high-level delegation in August 2025, led by WFP’s Assistant Executive Director, the Country Director in Sudan, and senior members of the Sudan office during a field visit to Dar Al-Salam – Umbada – Omdurman. The visit aimed to closely review the organization’s ongoing humanitarian projects and observe the impact of the support provided in strengthening food security and improving livelihood opportunities for vulnerable families.

The delegation praised the smooth and efficient registration and distribution processes, which were implemented electronically through applications linked to WFP’s SCOPE system, enhancing transparency, accuracy, and timely delivery of assistance.

Sawa Sudan reaffirms its commitment to working alongside its international partners to strengthen humanitarian response efforts and achieve a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of the communities it serves.
